“Really now?” He crosses his arms, grinning good naturedly. “Well congrats I guess, that is, if you said yes.” He wondered what this Hiccup was like, he wanted to know if he was anything like himself. Cami seemed a bit like Anya. “Valhalla? Odin? That’s crazy talk.” He says with a laugh. “I’ve never heard of them before.”

Putting the knife away, Cami shoved her hands inside her waistcoat. “Yeah. Just a bit ago. I agreed. You might like him,” she commented with a smile. “Your senses of humor might go along pretty well. But you’ve never heard of Valhalla or Odin? What about Thor? Loki?” She sighed, shaking her head. More people were more hopeless than she’d realized.

“Similar sense of humor, huh? He must be a pretty awesome guy then.” He grins cockily, then shakes his head. “Nope, never heard of them. Valhalla, Odin, Thor? Loki? What are these things?” He raises an eyebrow. She was from a strange, strange place.

He watches with interest as she plays around with her dagger. He admired her skills. He wasn’t too good with a weapon to be perfectly honest. He’d fought with knives as a child, but it didn’t last. He’d carried a gun for a period when he was older, but he didn’t practice much. “Another tribe. Right.” He nods. “Used to be your best friend, huh? Guess he got fed up with you?” He winks, hoping she realized he was playing. Dimitri chuckles. “I said, ‘you’re a strange child’. Who’s Odin?”

She winked back, noticing him watching. “Actually, he asked me out last month,” Cami said, rather quietly, as she tossed him the dagger she was playing with. “Odin’s the head god in Valhalla. Lord of the sky’n all that?” Truth be told, she was pretty pleased with being called strange. Not quite as satisfying as annoying or the best, but it was still a good feeling.

“Really now?” He crosses his arms, grinning good naturedly. “Well congrats I guess, that is, if you said yes.” He wondered what this Hiccup was like, he wanted to know if he was anything like himself. The Movie You Appreciate The Most Now: Anastasia. I was always a fan of this movie, but re-watching it when I was a little bit more older allowed me to appreciate it so much more, from the concept, to the character’s personalities, especially Anastasia’s, to the animation, to the songs.

Dimitri raises an eyebrow, completely flummoxed by this girl. She was almost as bad as Anya. He grins, “Looks like you’ve got an answer for everything, huh?” He leans against the wall, “What in the hell are the Hooligans?” He smirks, “Ты странный маленький ребенок. Did you know?”

“Well, y’see,” Cami began, taking a throwing knife out of her waistcoat. “Hooligans are another tribe, one we are frenemies with if you want to get specific. The heir, Hiccup, used to be my best friend.” She smiled at him as she balanced the weapon on a finger. “Now, since I’ve said my bit, you get to tell me what in the name of Odin’s knickers you just said!”

“Yeah.” He raises an eyebrow. “You got a problem with that, kid?” Dimitri laughs a bit, “Fine, fine. Remember though, you asked for it.” He sighs and runs his fingers through his hair. He removes his other hand from his pocket and interlocks his fingers behind his back. “Well, the first thing I called you was, um, ‘devil’s spawn’. The second time I said, ‘you look like you’ve never combed your hair once in your life’.” He stares at her, unabashedly. He snorts in laughter, realizing what she’d said, “Curse me out? I doubt it.”

Cami listened intently, trying to connect his insults together for later brawls. “Devil’s spawn? Yeah, Mum can be pretty bad. Especially in the morning,” she commented. “And never combed my hair? You’d be right! Isn’t it pretty?” She smiled sarcastically, picking up a matted lock and dropping it before crossing her arms back over her chest. “You haven’t lived with my tribe. Left, right, left right, and don’t even get me started on the times we get competing with the Hooligans!”

“Soft?” He growls and then rolls his eyes, “Of course I can fight. You don’t become a successful con artist without knowing how to fight. And I’m the best of St. Petersburg.” He uncrosses his arms and shoves his hands in his pockets. Dimitri smirks, “You sure you want to know what I’m saying? Are ya sure you can handle it, little girl?”

“A con artist, huh,” She mused, smiling thoughtfully. Not too different from her own line of work, was it? “Yeah, I’m pretty sure I can handle it. You haven’t heard the girls back home; I bet they could curse you down a dragonhole!”

“Yeah.” He raises an eyebrow. “You got a problem with that, kid?” Dimitri laughs a bit, “Fine, fine. Remember though, you asked for it.” He sighs and runs his fingers through his hair.
